The AIDS Vancouver Volunteer Recognition Party

April 21st-27th marked National Volunteer Week.

Volunteers are in many ways the backbone of AIDS Vancouver. Each and every day, AIDS Vancouver’s volunteers generate social value for the community and for AIDS Vancouver itself. Our volunteers play a vital role in contributing to a healthy and vibrant community and have more value than any money can ever measure. To recognize AIDS Vancouver’s hard working volunteers, we hosted a recognition party on Thursday April 25th. A simple affair took place at 131 Water Kitchen & Bar on April 25th at 6pm. There were appetizers and drinks aplenty as staff, board members and volunteers spent the evening together reminiscing about events past and looking forward to another busy summer ahead. We had a wonderful time sharing food and recognizing all of the important individuals that make our programs and services possible. Certificates of appreciation were given to every volunteer who attended & thanks to some very generous sponsors, we were also able to host a raffle to shower our amazing volunteers in a little extra love and appreciation.

The staff, volunteers, and clients of AIDS Vancouver all extend a very large thank you to all of our volunteer event sponsors. Without you, this event & this opportunity to create a sense of community which thanks those who endlessly give their time, skills and talents would not be possible.

If you missed it, enjoy some of the snapshots from the evening below!
