Invest in technology tools for teaching: Access to online data bases that will enable us to have access to the most up to date information on HIV/AIDS research for our clientele; Computer software such as graphic design programs that would allow us to create visually stimulating information teaching tools in house.

AIDS Vancouver regards education and health promotion as a means to empower various populations by providing information that enables individuals to better understand and take care of their health. Donations made to AIDS Vancouver Prevention and Education program enable AIDS Vancouver Prevention educators to bring together a variety of educational approaches designed to help increase awareness of HIV/AIDS and related issues.
 
We gratefully accept donations and funds that will help us to meet the varied needs of our diverse learners. Your gift will be used to help us:
  • Develop new and exciting curriculum and curriculum materials that stimulate the varied needs of all of our diverse learners.
  • Purchase educational materials such as pencils, paper, art supplies and education manuals that help us to create more interactive learning environments.
  • Create an event! Help us establish exciting new fundraising events that will provide us with the opportunity to get prevention education information out to an even wider audience. 

Don’t have money but have stuff? Let us help you take that off your hands!

  • Art and office supplies such as paper, pens, pencil crayons, markers and poster board carriers are always used in the workshops we present across the city.
  • Recently upgraded your lap top, computer or DVD player and don’t know what to do with it? We could always use old (but still working) items for our workshops and if we don’t find a use for it, we’ll be sure to find someone else who does!
