The following do not transmit the HIV virus:
- Saliva and tears (that are not mixed with blood)
- Urine (that is not mixed with blood)
- Utensils
- Towels
- Toilet seats
- Casual contact like kissing, hugging, and touching
- Caring for someone living with HIV/AIDS
