2 months ago I was treated to the shock of my life when the lady I had unprotected intercourse with (once) tested HIV positive (at 2 testing centers- using rapid blood tests). I tested negative (once) though it was just a week after the unfortunate intercourse and it meant I had to test again according to the 12 weeks-6 months recommendation. After this calamity my life suddenly changed to the point attempting suicide. That aside, I began waiting for the 12 week period and started taking immune boosting herbal supplements as I waited (they have always been my medicines for fever, flu and the rest so I thought it wise to take them for the unknown e.g. opportunistic fever, flu etc.).
Please answer the questions below for me as I trust your answers on this topic.
1. I tested again at 10 weeks because it was difficult to wait for 12 weeks and the result was negative (rapid test). Could the immunity herbs I am drinking be extending the window period and thus presenting a possibility for an unreliable negative result at 10 weeks? I intend to do another test at 12 weeks in view of this, is it necessary?
PLEASE help with the answers to these questions because I have really been stretched by fears. Please know that I will never repeat that unfortunate mistake as I was just out of my mind! I will also let you know the results at 12 weeks based on your recommendations above.

I went to the beach on the weekend and wore my bathing suit. I found out later that day that my sisters friend had worn my bathing suit bottoms the previous night to sleep in when she was drunk because she couldn't find anything else to wear. If she had HIV would it be possible for her to transmit it to me?

i took my 6 month old son to the hospital in Burlington Ontario, because he wasn't feeling well, when the nurse came with the machine to check his temperature through a rectal checking machine, when she checked it then she realized there was a lot of blood on the machine from previous patient, and some blood touched my sons body,the nurse cleaned it with paper towel, also we went to the hospital because my son had Eczema so he had rashes all over the body. now i m very worried about him. what should i do thank you
Today I was hanging with my friend and her cousin. He just happens to be gay, and I was eating yogurt and he wanted some and I let him take 2 bites. If he was to have HIV or aids which I don't know if he does or not am I at risk for the disease? I'm just worried

Hello, I have a history of becoming overly anxious over a possible HIV infection, so after my last test i felt relaxed… I am a bisexual male in my twenties and I met this guy online and we met (just to talk) i cut my hands on my way out to the meeting (sheet of paper) I shook his hands twice, (cut is on the ring finger) what if he had a cut as well ? I did not notice any blood coming out of my cut, but when I put hand sanitizer on it it was burning… do i need to be anxious again?

I had anal sex with a man who I believe is HIV positive. He wore a condom when giving it to me. He went for about an hour with different positions. The condom did not break. I also used a condom on him. Because he is positive I am worried about this. Lube was used. Realistically, what is my risk. A percentage would be helpful.
hello. i have maybe a stupid question. please, i had a bussiness meeting with a guy, whose hiv status is very questionable due to his promiscuite personal life i have known about from our common friends, and there are some rumors about hiv in his case,... he has had bleeding some 1 cm long cut on his finger }not very big and you know, you just dont think about it at the moment), showed me something on his ipad, touching it with this finger, (the blood/cut definitely was fresh) and i immediately touched the ipad... the thing is, my little son was with me and i am a bit anxious about it because of him. the guy was bleeding on his finger (finger tip, right the place with which you touch things), i was touching the same things at the same time, then i touched the glass and toys of my child immediately... i am not afraid of me, i didnt have any cuts, nothing, but my son as every child rubbs his eyes, rubbs and picks his nose, has various minor cuts on hands... (and for the moment touched the ipad at the same time too). the amount of blood would not be great, and yes, i am maybe stupid, but i just cant handle with the fear concerning my child... thank you very much for your help.
