On a call I had given a lady an IV I later gave a dose of midazolam with a needled system, the needle used gave me a very minor finger stick, less of one than a lancet would cause... It's been two weeks I now getting a sore throught. Should I be very worried? Overall I'm a healthy individuals with a healthy diet.

Yesterday I got a chicken wrap and the worker who was cutting up the chicken checked his finger as if he had cut it. His back was turned to me and I didn't think anything of it Also he had gloves on. After he put everything else on it and wrapped it I payed and immediately ate it. What if there was blood (HIV virus) in the wrap is it possible that I now have the virus.

Does a cut by a razor blade that was used by an an HIV infected person which had a blood 2minutes prior to the next person using it cause the transmission of an HIV virus?

I need your help. I had anal sex with a CSW 15 days ago and used a condom all the time. We did not use any lube, just saliva, she said she couldn't use lube by some reason... After the sex I did not notice any tear in the condom and it was not broken, at least I didn't notice anything wrong. I'm a nurse who often has very chapped skin on her hands. I read a study that has data showing that rectal secretions have a higher HIV viral load than either blood or semen. A nursing home resident that I care for is coinfected with both HIV and Hep C. The resident also has a medical condition which results in bloody diarrhea alternating with constipation. Nurses have put suppositories and done rectal checks on him. Can I contract either Hep C or HIV by inserting my chapped finger in his anus using a vinyl glove? (My facility does not use latex or nitrate gloves).
