Pooled RNA/Early Test
Good Afternoon,
Just yesterday i was made aware that i might have been exposed to the HIV virus on April 28.
Also they said something about not being a transmitter and only a carrier (witch i think is bull).
Also i know that its criminal not to tell someone or withhold that information..
First question, is there 100% chance that I have contracted the virus if I was exposed?
I have been ultra stressed out and have gone to a clinic, they sent me to the hospital, then the hospital sent me back to another clinic, then that clinic said that they would have to get me an appointment for the end of the month..
I feel like its not being taken as seriously as it could be, I feel like crap i think its mostly stress but still can not sleep I feel like can't eat anything, Im noticing every little rash or bump, I can't concentrate on anything and my life feels like its in shambles...
Hope someone can offer some sort of answer here..
I am a guy and was given oral a few times by a guy who then later told me that he's HIV positive. I am uncircumcised so I pre came in his mouth and also ejaculated in his mouth each time. Since I was only made aware of his status after a few times he'd provided me oral, I am now a little worried that I might had contracted HIV from him. I've noticed a slight rash near the bottom of the penis head and under the foreskin and some sort of slight white turned purple/brownish discoloration on the head of the penis. Does this signify anything with regards to having contracted HIV? or is it just a repeat outbreak of genital herpes which I was diagnosed with a few years ago. Also, how long should I wait to get tested for HIV? the most recent episode where he gave me oral was a couple of days ago. Thanks!
I had a protected sex with a sex worker, i´m sure the condom did not fail, but it last 30 minutes.
I´m worried of getting HIV.
So for peace of my mind I performed a PCR VIRAL LOAD TEST THAT COST ME 350$ AT 20 DAYS AND 27 DAYS POST EXPOSURE THAT CAME NOT DETECTABLE AND A DUO TEST 30 DAYS AFTER AND CAME NEGATIVE.
I REMEMBER SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE GOT TESTED 10 DAYS LATER FOR HIV AND ALL STI AND CAME NEGATIVE . I DON'T HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS SO FAR. SHOULD I WORRY?
I also get tested to Syphillis and came negative, I dont know why I put myself in this situation. please help-me.

I am planning to perform HIV screening after potential incident(oral sex) at 5 weeks.
I am planning to perform antigen (ICMA,Western-blot) test however if i am in window period this test may come negative so in addition to this test i am also planning to perform either HIV Pooled Nucleic Acid Test or RNA Quantitative, Real-time PCR.
Please advice which test should i take in addition to antigen test for near conclusive results. Please let me know difference between these two Pooled NAAT vs RNA Real-Time PCR test.
I have psoriasis which being auto-immune disorder, can it affect any of the test results?

I was wondering how long after my sexual encounter should I wait before I get an HIV test? What's the safest amount of time I should wait, but also the best time to go to make sure I get 100% accurate results?
hi you mentioned to Joey that he can take a test after 10 days. what test is that? thanks
I'm a little confused when people mention the window period of 10 - 12 days for this test. I was tested at 10 days and told those results are 90% accurate. All over here it mentions a window period of 10 to 12 days......doesn't this mean that at 10- days you still could be in the window period.
It may be that HIV RNA PCR method could not be found in HIV somehow???
For example because after 26 days was very low Virus load in the blood???
Let say is it possible??
About WB Lia HIV test. I know what this test is show a If you have GP 120 P24 or other components of the virus.
Let say if I did WB LIA hiv TEST and this test will be negativ or not reactive. I can say what i’m not infected.
Because some doctors say what HIV antibodies can start produce only till 6 month.
