Symptoms

I am male, 23 years old and I had unprotected sex and i did the folowing tests:

• 16 days post exposure: RNA PCR and ELISA
• 30 days post exposure: RNA PCR, ELISA and WESTERN BLOT
• 80 days post exposure: ELISA and WESTERN BLOT

All my results are negative. With 75 days post exposure I had symptoms like high fever and severe diarrhea for 2 days. Also the night after my fever has gone, I had sweats for the whole night.

Also i have thyroid problems, i take syntroid every day since i was 8 years old.

I'm worried if i need to re-test, are my results conclusive, is possible that those symptoms are refered to the accute infection of HIV. Can my thyroid problem affect my window period?

Just yesterday i was made aware that i might have been exposed to the HIV virus on April 28.

Also they said something about not being a transmitter and only a carrier (witch i think is bull).

Also i know that its criminal not to tell someone or withhold that information..

First question, is there 100% chance that I have contracted the virus if I was exposed?

I have been ultra stressed out and have gone to a clinic, they sent me to the hospital, then the hospital sent me back to another clinic, then that clinic said that they would have to get me an appointment for the end of the month..

I feel like its not being taken as seriously as it could be, I feel like crap i think its mostly stress but still can not sleep I feel like can't eat anything, Im noticing every little rash or bump, I can't concentrate on anything and my life feels like its in shambles...

Hope someone can offer some sort of answer here..

I am a male (21 yrs old) from a small town in Maharashtra state in India..

I had unprotected sex with female sex worker before 4 months... 2 weeks after sex I started suffering from weakness, leg pains..

After an month after I had following symptoms observed in me loss in weight, diarrehea - it lasted for 12 days, nausea - for 2 months, muscle and joint pains - for 2 months, oral thrush - till today , oral ulcers- for an week , mild headache- daily , dehydration type of feeling (i.e loss of energy, oral dryness, whitish tongue, sour taste in my mouth) which I have been experiecing from 33 days after thet sex till today.. I am very scared.. plz help me..

I did followinf tests during all this period:

PCR DNA-36 th day

Tridot antibody-92nd day

Combo - 98th day

All the tests came negative.

I approched to many doctors here...

All saying that you should again get tested after 3 months again (i.e. 6 months after  sex ).  Please help me out...

I also read on many sites that 6 months is a window period for HIV detection... and doctors here saying the same..Sir as on many sites all the above symptoms are mentioned about hiv I am very tensed... what should i do??

This oral thrush with which I am suffering from 3 months is worring me a lot .. plz help... whether I should go for a PCR again..  I cannot wait for 2 months more.  Please tell me a conclusive test.... and also sir I read about antibody body tests are not conlusive in  X-linked agammaglubulinemia people... what is this??
