1. Sir, I am 28 years old and two months before I had a physical relationship with my neighbor. Since, she is a house wife , we did not use any precautions except first time. But, two days after our second physical contact, I got a heavy fever for two days. Followed to this, I got a heavy stomach pain and diarrhea on the next day onwards. For these reasons, I was hospitalized for one week, though nothing has detected in the ultrasound scan too. After one week, I felt well and continue my routine works. Again we continued our physical relation upto middle of Apr 2013. In between, I had noticed that my partner was frequently suffering from heavy fever and headache and I avoided this in the initial stage. Also, I have been suffering from yeast infection on the head of my penis.
2. Earlier my cholesterol level was too high ie. 260. For this reason, I have been regularly working out. Last week I went to nearby Diagnosis Centre for my blood checking. At that time, I have done my Cholesterol, Sugar and HIV test. Unfortunately, I got shocked when I saw my HIV status. The HIV status obtained from reputed Laboratory is as under :-

3. Now I am mentally depressed and I cant concentrate on my duties properly. Nowadays, I am always thinking to end my life. Am I an HIV positive person? Couldn't be continue a normal life? I am an unmarried person and now I have decided not to marry a girl in the entire life. Thank you for your reply. Just to confirm if any anal mucous was still present on his penis, as it was exposed to the air for over two minutes before he inserted it into me, any HIV present would have died?
On that topic as he used his saliva whilst masturbating during that two minute period would the saliva enzymes also act as a defense and kill of any HIV virus if present?

Please help me...' I am getting very scared. I had sex with a lady 2 weeks back. Over the weekend I had a sexual encounter with two other men and would like to ask a couple of questions regarding the potential of a HIV infection.
Initially the two other men where having unprotected anal sex for approximately two minutes, the man who was receiving stopped the sexual activity and left. Eventually I found myself as the new receiver and had unprotected anal sex for approximately fifteen seconds before I felt the risk was too high and stopped the sexual activity myself. Please note that as his penis was of a smaller size there was no problem entering my anus therefore I feel that chance of any tears occurring would be relatively slim.
Before the giver and I had sex there was a two minute period where he was masturbating and rubbing his own saliva on his penis. From what I have read both air and saliva enzymes are very hostile to the HIV virus.
My questions are;
Firstly, does the anal mucous from the first man pose a risk of HIV infection if any was on the givers penis when he inserted it into my anus?
Secondly, if there was any anal mucous left on his penis after being exposed to both air and salvia for two minutes, is there a concern of HIV transmission?

HI all the experts here, just wanted to know the accuracy of an antigen test is it reliable or not. I have tested on 19 days - 20 days after a possible exposure (unprotected vaginal sex) and I'm a male.

I have tested the on both antigen and antibody by around 19 days - 20 days possible exposure, does the Antigen test result can be reliable? What is the window period for antigen test?? around 20 days is it good enough?

Hi .. 6 years ago i was in highly risky exposure with a house maid from Indonesia .. unprotected anal and vaginal.
I didnt have any test until last year when I started having strange symptoms
I was diagnosed with chronic Gastritis at first.
lost 10 kg of my weight and started having fevers.burning joints.and fatigue .. With constant diarrhae thats when i suspected Hiv.
So i decided to have tests .. i did combo hiv1,2 ag ab and the result was Negative
Elisa test ab Negative
Pcr hiv1 Also negative
and one more combi-duo test was Negative.
My problem is that i still have some symptoms (fatigue-joint burning-mouth burning-beard hair rash) with elevated esr and what seems to be decreasing Wbc (4.1 last time i checked.)
I really need help here .. should i continue investegating Hiv or not ?
Was my tests relible after six years of exposure?
