Question:

I had one time unprotected oral sex with a sex worker whom I discovered was transgender. I am so worried right now,  whether I have AIDS or not. Since I have to wait for 3 months I do not know how to overcome my anxiety.

Question:

Hi, I had oral sex without a condom recently & I contracted an STI. I am now worried that I may have gotten HIV. My question is, can you get HIV from ejaculating into the mouth of a girl with HIV??

Question:

I'm a woman and I had unprotected sex with a man of unknown HIV status. 23 days after I had an HIV DUO test coming back negative. What is the percentage of the success of this test at 23 days after possible exposure. I found in the internet that p24 during this period is at its peak. So if i was infected this test would have detected it through p24 correct?

The reason why i worry too much is because i was diagnosed with another STD and the last month i was diagnosed twice with vaginal candida spp and tongue candida despite the fact that i was treated with antibiotics for candida. Now i have flu dry cough and i experienced once fever 37.6. Are these an indication of HIV?

Thanks

Question:

I am a female, was having sex girl-on-top with a guy I know. He ejaculated inside the condom, but when I got off of him I noticed the condom had rolled up to the point where the base of the condom may have been slightly inside me... There was a significant amount of ejaculate inside the condom, as there should have been, but I'm wondering if perhaps his semen may have leaked out of the rolled up condom, especially since it was girl-on-top and gravity was working against us.

However, even if the condom did leak, the ejaculate would have been moving downward, away from the deeper parts of my vagina... I guess my question is where are the most vulnerable parts of the vagina/mucous membrane in terms of possible HIV transmission? Also, if there was significant ejaculate present in the condom, despite it's rolling, how likely is it that the condom leaked from the base?

Sorry for the rambling, thank you.

Question:

Hi, I am 28 Male from the Philippines and I am really worried about my lymph excision biopsy results which indicated "reactive hyperplasia". I think this result is most common with HIV positive patients, or is it not?

My last unprotected sex was October 2011, receptive anal. I had Abbott Determine HIV 1 and 2 last March 2012 and September 2012 and both were negative. I just want to be sure if these results were already conclusive, or do I still need to be tested anytime soon?

Thank you and God bless!

Question:

I had a brief unprotected sexual relationship with a South American female of unknow status over a year ago. I have tested 5 times over a one span with a standard HIV EIA 1/2 all negative and 2 HIV RNA PCR undetectable. I've had this dry cough for months with other symptoms which has me thinking that I'm infected but not yet testing positive. Is there any other test that would provide 100% proof or are these test enongh to prove 100% that I'm negative and can finally move on with my life. Thank you for taking time to reply.

Question:

Hi I have suffered from pretty bad anxiety from time to time. basically I had been a careless university student in the past. I am canadian, male now 24, had unprotected sex with 2 girls both students in late Feb/early March 2011. went to test for everything unfortunately had chlamydia, got that treated. everything else was neg. including HIV. This test was approx. 9 weeks after my last encounter. I had a few symptoms that worried me so I ended up testing again in July 2011, at around 16-17 weeks or so and the antibody test was negative again. I started dating a girl around this time, she had been tested too, so we didn't use condoms we broke up for a month and during this time I made out with a couple girls and touched a bit , anxiety makes me wonder but I KNOW i didn't have sex or oral or anything risky with them. My girlfriend and I got back together, unfortunately breaking up for good in the end of the summer.
Basically my questions are: 1) Are my two tests from 2011 conclusive, the 9 week and the 17 week? I also had a cbc test which appeared to be normal in between the two tests. Is there anyway I wouldn't have antibodies at this time, for a seemingly healthy 24 year old male? 2)Are the tests equally reliable all across Canada? My tests were sent to a lab in a city nearby and returned a couple weeks later 3) I have been paranoid about this stuff a little here and there for the past few years, kissing, fingering and touching are not risk factors are they to HIV? I am basically 100 percent sure nothing else took place as I have been very careful and did not want to take any kind of risk (Most places I read say they are no risk, I guess I just want a professional opinion 4)Is there any way a lab would mess up a test, when I did it twice, a few months apart?
