The Complete Wellness Guide

In this booklet, “wellness” is defined as the pursuit of a healthy, balanced lifestyle. It is the understanding that good health goes beyond the physical body. The booklet has been separated into five categories: Wellness; Appearance; Connectedness; Spirituality and Aging. Each section responds to questions regarding HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and HCV (Hepatitis C Virus). It also provides the reader with the contact numbers of a number of local organizations designed to assist one in getting the support the need around a number of different issues.

 This resource brings together a variety of educational approaches designed to help increase awareness of hepatitis C infection and related issues. The activities and materials in this curriculum support an interactive and engaged learning process. Experiential and participatory based activities are designed to meet the varied needs of all learners. Background information has been provided so that the facilitator is better able to prepare and answer questions regarding the HCV virus. Facilitators using this guide are encouraged to use their creativity to make this material their own.This workshop also comes with a number of colourful cards and posters to visually enhance the learning experience!
