wat are the initial symptoms of hiv, are night sweats initial symptoms of hiv, and if they are how severe they hav to be??does night sweats come with other symptoms, e.g fever etc...also when do they inital symtoms start and they end...

Please note that the signs and symptoms of acute HIV infection are nonspecific, and as such, cannot be used to diagnose HIV infections. For example, it is impossible to distinguish between a common cold and acute HIV infection. As a result, testing is the only reliable method to diagnose an HIV infection. If you are concerned about the possibility of being infected with HIV, we recommend all people at risk for HIV be tested regularly, for their protection and the protection of their partners.
