Barb Snelgrove is in her 3rd term as a member of the Vancouver City Hall LGTBQ Advisory Committee, sits on the VPD Diversity Advisory Committee, is a member of Positive Living BC’s Red Ribbon Advisory Panel and the newly formed City of Vancouver Jim Deva Plaza Steering and Oversight Committee (the first of its kind in Vancouver). She is also part of the scholarship selection panel for The LOUD Foundation.

Janice Ungaro

janice_ungaro.jpgLongtime Vancouver radio personality Janice Ungaro spent the past 14 years working in Los Angeles writing and producing the Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, The Phil Hendrie Show, and The Bill Handel Show. She continues to tour with and produce the Jillian Michaels Show. 

Janice returned to the local radio scene in 2015 with Roundhouse Radio’s CAMP, and now can be found weekdays (3pm-6pm) as Co-Host of the Janice & Cory Show. Janice’s experience as a former can-can dancer and stand-up comic will surely take the dim out of your sum!

Dr. Hedy Fry

hedy_fry.jpgDr. Hedy Fry is the Liberal Member of Parliament for Vancouver Centre. She served as Secretary of State for Multiculturalism and the Minister for Status of Women (1996-2002), and is currently Chair of the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage. First elected in 1993, she is the longest-serving female MP in Canadian history.

Hedy Fry was born in Trinidad and Tobago where she graduated as class Valedictorian, winning a full scholarship for a Masters degree in English Literature at Oxford, England. She had done her undergraduate in French, English and Spanish literature, though her passion turned to medicine and she relinquished the scholarship to study medicine in Dublin, Ireland. Accepted into the program, she had one year to fulfill the academic requirements, which meant an intensive immersion in science from high school level to the equivalent of a Bachelor of Science in a single academic year. She completed her degree in Medicine with Honours at the Royal College of Surgeons.

ryan_steele.jpgRyan Steele is half of the local sketch comedy duo 'The Ryan and Amy Show'. His online comedy videos with Amy Goodmurphy have over 5 million views. He his also an alumni of 'The Amazing Race Canada', coming in 3rd place in the show's second season. Ryan would like everybody to know he dyes his beard because it's fully grey and he's not ready for that yet. Ryan says that his main inspirations are Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Will Ferrell, Kristin Wiig, Jan Hooks, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, and all the Kids in the Hall.
