AIDS Vancouver extends a huge Thank you for your amazing support and assistance with our World AIDS Day/AIDS Vancouver Donations Drive with Bif Naked! Without you, it would have not been a success.

Yesterday was quite amazing with all the conversations people were having, exposure on television, Red Ribbons awards at AIDS Vancouver headquarters and continuation throughout the evening at Pumpjacks Pub.

With this amazing support it truly exemplifies that those before us and those fighting forward this awful disease still have a voice!

Yesterday’s endeavours raised close to $4000 in much needed holiday groceries and blankets for those in need of compassion and love. We also raised close to $10,000 cash to help with our AIDS Vancouver programs, outreach, health promotion, helpline and case management support.

Today is Giving Back Tuesday, we are still in need of support and will accept grocery donations until Dec. 12th for our Dec 16th Holiday grocery day, which will provide items for over 800 clients in one day.

Congrats to Dr. John Batherwick, Anne Beaufoy & Jackie Heywood for winning the 2014 AIDS Vancouver Red Ribbon awards exemplifying outstanding work in the field of HIV/AIDS.
