Asian Outreach Project

The Asian Outreach Project is a peer-based model providing language-specific and culturally appropriate outreach, education, support and linkages to health and social services for Asian people struggling with addiction and/or living with HIV.

AIDS Vancouver’s Asian Outreach Project serves Asian people with HIV, with substance use issues, or at risk for infection in the DTES and Vancouver Downtown. The project connects individuals and their families with the skills, knowledge and resources to help develop self efficacy to respond to their own changing needs, and assistance to access appropriate services and support.
